2012 Annual Dinner Meeting PDF Print E-mail
Please join us for the Mohawk-Hudson Section’s 74th Annual Dinner Meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 16th at the Century House in Latham.

This year’s keynote speaker will be John Grady, P.E., Region 1 Regional Construction Engineer from NYSDOT. He will be presenting on the construction of the new Lake Champlain Bridge that connects Crown Point, New York to Chimney Point, Vermont, a crossing of approximately 2,000 feet over Lake Champlain. It was closed unexpectedly in autumn 2009 and subsequently demolished when inspections revealed excessive deterioration. Mr. Grady's presentation summarizes the challenging process of rebuilding a replacement signature bridge on an accelerated schedule (1 PDH available).

At the meeting we will honor section and branch members who have achieved life membership status and section members with will be receiving the Engineer of the Year, Young Engineer of the Year and Meritorious Service Awards. In addition, our new section board officers for 2012-2013 will be installed at the meeting.

Please see the attached flyer for information on how to register for the event. The deadline to register is May 11th.
